Werewolves are
fierce, sometimes sexy, and always ruthless. I don’t recommend switching
species, but if you’re desperate, there are ways. I just don’t guarantee the
results.
Usually, it’s fatal if a werewolf bites or scratches you. Even
if you survive, you might be in for a surprise come the next full moon. Less
drastic but equally effective you can gain fur and fangs by drinking rainwater from a werewolf’s paw print.
Food and drink can
help you make the change. There’s a lycanthropous flower that grows in the
Balkans. Eat it, and voila, you have fur. A less appetizing way is to eat a werewolf brain (although I don’t know where you’d find one).
Chowing down on an
unborn fetus can trigger the change. Then again, eating one might get you slung
in a cell with Hannibal Lecter. Some tales insist that eating human flesh does
the trick. I’d probably throw up. Far easier to make the change by drinking
downstream from where werewolves drink.
If you’re not
certain you want to make a drastic change of species, never, ever annoy a witch
or a troll. They can curse into Lycanthropy. They can brew potions, Jekyll and
Hyde style, to make you temporary furry too. It’s a sort of try before you buy
deal.
All things
considered, I’d rather stay human. Unless of course, two drop-dead werewolf
twins wanted to make me their immortal mate. That’s what happened to Cassie in
my best-selling romance, Taken as Theirs.
