A Symbol That's Known the World Over. #marine #romance #contemporary #smalltown

A Badge That Means Courage, Integrity, and Initiative #Marines #romance #BDSM

Military Badges aren't just there to look pretty. Every one has  powerful symbolism running through it.
The Marine Corps badge is no different.
They first used this badge in 1868. In 1955 it became their official emblem.

So, what is it? And what does it represent?

The first bit’s easy.

The eagle represents America, the country the Marines were formed to protect.

The globe signifies the Marines’ worldwide presence.

The anchor is a reminder of the Marine Corps’ naval heritage.

Together, the three elements, the Eagle, the Globe, and the Anchor, stand for the Marines’ excellence on Air, Land, and Sea.

When I needed a hero who'd served in the forces, no wonder I chose a marine.

There's also a free very short story about one of my Jared Armstong's missions available for download from my website

Blurb  - Marriage, Mobsters, and the Marine.

Christmas sucks. No family. No tree. No decorations.

Abigail Montgomery lives for her regular visit to Masked Nights BDSM club. Thanks to her great-aunt’s will, she needs to abandon her spanking lifestyle and find a husband—fast.

Desperate, she advertises for a husband.

Jared Armstrong, a former, Marine, cold-blooded sniper, and occasional Dom, needs $125,000. Without it, Mobsters will murder his family. His solution – marry Abigail for her money.

Jared plans to hunt down the mobsters then reimburse Abigail. Together they face extortion, a kidnapping, and an attempted murder. Along the way, Jared steals Abigail’s heart, but she’d promised him a divorce after two years.

Will Jared walk away? Or can he work some Christmas magic and make their relationship real?

A stand alone romance and Book One of the Heroes of Westhorpe Ridge Trilogy
